Solid, nicer restaurant near Stauning Distillery

We are here after taking a tour of the Stauning Distillery, which is about 5 minutes away. There were 3-4 options for starters and main course, so not a huge menu — which is often a good sign. All of the food was freshly and...thoughtfully prepared. I had a fish bisque and then the catch of the day, and my husband had asparagus and shrimp followed by stjerneskud.More

Really good restaurant with super service.

We had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant, celebrating my mothers 75 y birthday.The food was great and the staff very service minded.They made our day by preparing extra food to members of our party with allergies - so that everybody could enjoy...the lunch to the fullest.We will certainly be back!More

Great food and very friendly staffs

Great food and very friendly staffs..Second time we have been there and it was just as good as the last time in 2018.Worth a visit!!

Nice place, great food

Beautiful food!

A place worth traveling for!We have been around(the World) and tried a lot of restaurants, all from good to bad!But restaurant Stauning Havn is for sure in the top!

Price and quality is not correct

This is a nice location at the small harbor.We where quite surprised with the prices and unfortunately it did not match the quality of the food.We where sitting in a very warm part of the restaurant and it was not comfortable.The toilet...did not have toilet paper, soap or towels.We see a lot of room for improvementMore

Was on a sightseeing trip We hunger struck us this place was a cross the harbourGreat friendly service and the selection of food was goodAll food we got was perfectly cooked and precented on the plates

Lunch with friends

Very nice location at Stauning harbor and a beautiful view from 1st floor. The food was ok, I've got their Stjerneskud which was nice but on a normal slice of toast. My friend got a herring plate but he the bread was a day old...supermarket version... argh come on :-) The omelet with fried porkbelly was ok but again the pork belly was a bit boring. The price was okay and would I go there again, probally ;-)More

Exactly right

Arriving just as the time for the lunch menu ended and the kitchen was in the process of shifting to the dinner menu, hopes were not high. But the waiter cheked and let us know that they would be able to serve from the lunch...menu. Good news! And we were not let down at all. We had two fish courses freshly made and served with a wide smile. And definitely good value for money.More

Good decent food at reasonable prices.

Good food, best service, decent prices - one should probably have two courses - that seems to be the concept. A beautiful location and a good kitchen to return to.

Friendly service, good food, nice location

We were on holiday nearby and had lunch twice and diner once at this restaurant. Service was very friendly. We dropped by when the restaurant was officially closed according to the sign, but the chef fired up the kitchen anyway. The waitresses who served during...diner were all very friendly and accommodating. It was a busy evening, but the service was timely and the chef still made time to have a chat with the guests.The food was good. I especially liked their stjerneskud. The location at the harbour is quite nice.More

Great experience

We went on an evening where a guest Chef from the US prepared the specials. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was great. Will definately dine again when in the area!
